Recognize that fabulous blue and white pattern?💙🤍💙🤍 It's a beloved British porcelain pattern called Wedgwood. Josiah Wedgwood created the design in the 18th century to look like ancient Roman glassware. The Portland Vase in the @britishmuseum is a great example of the cameo glass that inspired him.I love creative, modern adaptations of old art. Here the Wedgwood print decorates two oh-so-modern vessels, the to-go coffee cup and thermos bottle. Spotted at the @ge03_store near Rosenthaler Platz, Berlin.📷 1. Stephanie Pearson📷 2.
